GST rollout is welcome

The budget has given both the common man and demonstrated the governments focus on driving suitability inclusive growth. We are happy to note the significant progress is under war towards introduction GST and that constitutional amendment bill would be placed before the parliament in the current session itself. Through the finance minister has not given any definite date for the GST roll-out, we afire optimistic and look forward for its introduction in FY 2013-13.

Leaving service tax and central duty rates unchanged is a step in the right direction, given the inflationary pressure. On the slip side, given the current economic and the high lending rates, the industry was looking forward to a reduction in corporate tax ton enable it to make it to big ticket investments.

However this was ignored by the government in this Budget. Overall the budget is welcome new for may despite challenge that to be looked forward.
