Blue Dart reports net profit of Rs 30.81 crore in Q2

Blue Dart's total income from operations during the quarter stood at Rs 581.66 crore as against Rs 471.02 crore in Q2, FY14, the company said in a release.

Leading logistics firm Blue Dart Express today reported a net profit of Rs 30.81 crore for the July-September quarter compared to Rs 30.06 crore a year ago. "We are pleased to announce that we have sustained our growth momentum in our performance this quarter. Despite a challenging macro-economic environment, Blue Dart has continued to be resilient and has displayed exemplary quality and service excellence," Blue Dart Express Limited managing director Anil Khanna said.

Blue Dart has maintained a strong focus on its e-tailing business and SME sector, he said, adding, "Going forward, we will continue to drive our business through the widest range of innovative products and services with the support of our passionate people force, dedicated air and ground infrastructure and superior technology."
