Blue Dart Acquires Fourth Aircraft

Blue Dart Express Ltd, a leading courier and integratd air express package distribution company, has acquired its fourth aircraft a Boeing 737 as part of its fleet expansion plans.
The aircraft has been acquired for operations by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Blue Dart Aviation.
The aircraft will boost Blue Dart's existing fleet of three Boeing 737 freighters, and will enhance the presence cargo capacity by a minimum of 30 tonnes per day, adding to its present daily capacity of 145 tonnes, a Blue Dart press release said.
Clyde Cooper, Managing Director, Blue Dart said,"The acquisition of the fourth aircraft reinforces Blue Dart's leadership in the domestic express industry. On induction it would further strengthen our capabilities to service our strong customer base spanning across more than 13,600 locations in the country."
"The new aircraft will meet the increased demands on capacity and complement our strong integrated ground network," he added.
