Blue Dart In Deal With Sri Lankan.

Courier major Blue Dart Express has entered into an interline deal with Sri Lankan Airlines, to capitalise on the increased opportunities between both countries.
The deal will allow Indian businesses to send shipments to Sri Lanka and transship from the Sri Lankan hub to Europe and Asian destinations conveniently, from any of the five major metros when Blue Dart currently operates.
Sri Lankan shipments can also be conveniently delivered to any part of India through Blue Dart's national service infrastructure.
Nalin Rodrigo, head of cargo at Sri Lankan Airlines , said, "The recent changes in the Indo-Sri Lankan FTA will provide more impetus to trade between the 2 countries. We currently operate 53 weekly flights into India, including an AN12 freighter service to Bangalore and Chennai, Our deal with Blue Dart will increase our distribution capability to and from India."
Tulsi Nowlakha Mirchandaney, senior vice president, marketing and projects Blue Dart Express, added "Our agreement will further leverage our strong domestic air infrastructure to provide Sri Lankan Airlines customers in India and overseas quality services to and from the five major metros in India."
This is Blue Dart's 21st international interline agreement. The company operates in over 13,700 destinations in the region.
It also has a sales alliance with DHL Worldwide Express.
