Blue Dart and DHL Express reinforce their Leadership position with a host of awards

. Win accolades at Responsible Business Awards, Corporate Excellence Awards and Thought Leaders Awards

Blue Dart, South Asia's premier number one express air and integrated transportation, distribution and logistics company and DHL, the world's leading logistics company, were recognized for their positive contribution to business, society, environment and the country and were recipients of awards across categories at the Responsible Business Awards, Corporate Excellence Awards and Thought Leaders Awards held at Taj Lands End on 30th June in Mumbai.

At the Responsible Business Awards (an annual initiative aimed at raising awareness on CSR), Blue Dart won the 'Environmental Leadership Award' while DHL Express won the 'Responsible Supply Chain Award' for GOGREEN Carbon Neutral Service (India's first end-to-end service that allows customers to neutralize their carbon footprint). For their role as responsible corporate entities and contributing positively to the society, Blue Dart received the 'Best in CSR Award' while DHL Express received the 'Corporate Social Responsibility Practice Award'. Over and above this, Blue Dart won the 'Sustainable Education Strategy Award' for Blue Edge: Empowering Lives (an initiative aimed at enhancing the lives of young adults from deprived environments), while the 'Responsible Business Leader Award' was presented to Anil Khanna, Managing Director, Blue Dart Express Ltd. (for leading the company as a cohesive force in its various Sustainability initiatives).

At the Corporate Excellence Awards 2012, which honours companies and individuals who have helped to raise India's corporate disclosure standards and corporate governance through their corporate practices, Blue Dart shone with Anil Khanna, Managing Director, Blue Dart Express Ltd. winning the 'Best CEO Award' and Yogesh Dhingra, COO & Finance Director, Blue Dart Express Ltd. winning the 'Best CFO Award'. These awards were presented by the Stars of the Industry Group and Asian Confederation of Businesses.

The Thought Leaders Awards hosted by the Thought Leaders International, Asian Confederation of Business, Stars of the Industry Group and World HRD Congress aims to recognize the futurist who is revered and looked upon for innovative ideas for the industry. Anil Khanna, Managing Director, Blue Dart Express Ltd. was conferred the 'CEO Thought Leader Award' for being the industry leader and setting new benchmarks for the industry.
