Blue Dart organises “Jio Mumbai Cyclothon” as part of its green initiative, partners with Champ Endurance

• The route is from BKC Sealink Worli junction - 5kms, 10kms, 25kms, 50 kms & 100kms.

• To also conduct a tree plantation drive on 9th November

Blue Dart Express Limited, South Asia's premier express air and integrated transportation and distribution express logistics company is organizing the “Jio Mumbai Cyclothon 2022” on 13th November in partnership with Champ Endurance, famously known for promoting and organizing high Endurance sports like Marathons, Triathlons, Cyclothons, etc., at the National level. The route of the Cyclothon is from BKC Sealink to Worli Junction. People are free to choose from various categories such as 5 km, 10 km, 25 kms, 50 kms & 100 km distance.

The Cyclothon event was flagged off on 9th November by IPS Krishna Prakash who is the only Indian Police Officer to have their name in the World Book of Record Holders' for being the first Indian Government Servant, Civil Servant and Uniformed Services Officer including Armed Forces and Para Military Forces to earn the Iron Man title. Accompanying him was Mr. Pablo Ciano, CEO, DHL eCommerce Solutions.

On this occasion, IPS Krishna Prakash, Commissioner of Police of Pimpri Chinchwad Commissionerate and Ironman title holder said, “I am elated to see that Blue Dart and various other organizations have collaborated with Champ Endurance efficiently to organize the Jio Mumbai Cyclothon, 2022. Cycling is one of the most relaxing and peaceful way to not only stay healthy but also build mental strength. We are all aware about the wonderful cardiovascular benefits that comes from cycling. The various categories enable people across all age groups to participate and I hope there is a positive feedback to the event.

He further added saying, “It is heartening to see that focus is being given to the physical and mental health of the people and I hope such initiatives are done by other organizations to make our community and future generations fitter.”
