Blue Dart Contributes to Cyclone Affected People in Orissa
- Employees of Blue Dart contribute 8 tonnes of relief material -
Blue Dart, India's largest domestic express company, today flagged off Two containerised vehicles carrying relief material for the cyclone affected people in Orissa. The vehicles carrying clothes, blankets, utensils, food supplies and other household items of daily use left for Kendrapara today.
Weighing 8-tonnes in weight, the relief material is contributed by over 3,400 Blue Dart employees from all India. Blue Dart has done its homework in and around Kendrapara with the support of the locals and will distribute directly to the victims who have not received anything as yet. Earlier, Blue Dart has also carried relief material on behalf of International Aid Organisations from Delhi to Kolkata by its own freighter aircraft and Kolkata to Bhubaneshwar in its own containerised vehicles.
