Emergency Situation Surcharge

As the COVID-19 Pandemic outbreak continues to remain a challenge across the globe, Blue Dart Express Limited is working to ensure our customer’s receive their mission critical shipments as well as essential supplies on time. We are monitoring and responding to the various situational challenges caused by COVID-19 keeping our customer’s, employee’s & communities safety paramount. 

With effect from 1st April 2020 we will temporarily and until further notice levy an Emergency Situation Surcharge (ESS) of 25% on the freight / COD of all our products & services, all other VAS & surcharges such as FS/CAF/IDC etc will be applied over this.

This will not be applicable to Tariff Rate Cards

Aligning ourselves with the nationwide lockdown, our operations are focused on prioritizing essential supplies as well as mission critical shipments to ensure the safety and health of our customers. 

Blue Dart Express transports your shipments across India using our own fleet of 6 Boeing 757-200 dedicated freighter aircrafts as well as a strong ground network to ensure we reach the remotest parts of India. 

With a backdrop of a nationwide shutdown, our aircrafts have been flying to help keep the supply chain of the nation running to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Our costs during this period have risen to unsustainable levels. 

The Emergency Situation Surcharge will be effective as of 1st April 2020 until further notice.
