Infra Development and Cost (IDC) Surcharge

The IDC Surcharge has been necessitated by an abnormal upsurge in cost escalations in infrastructure development and other high inflationary pressure across all parameters including the massive revision of minimum wages.

To meet the growing market demand, Blue Dart is continuously investing in infrastructure such as reach improvement, transit time developments, introduction of new facilities, increased rentals, expanding technology solutions and of course increase in man-power etc.

Such a sudden increase has made the cost management untenable.

In order to serve you better and to mitigate a portion of the abnormal increases, the Infra Development and Cost (IDC) Surcharge of 10% will be levied on all our services, effective 1st July 2018.
